Method
- About 30 minutes before you’re ready to start, set the cream cheese out to soften at room temperature. It’ll be much easier to spread!
- Spread the softened cream cheese evenly across the bottom of your baking dish using a spatula. Make sure it covers the entire bottom.
- Open your can of chili and pour it right on top of the cream cheese layer. Spread it out evenly with a spoon or spatula.
- Sprinkle a generous layer of shredded cheese over the chili. Feel free to pile it on – the cheesier, the better!
- Pop the dish into your preheated oven (350°F) and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden around the edges.
- Pull it out of the oven and let it cool for just a minute. Then serve it hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or even some crusty bread!

Notes
If you have any leftovers (and that’s a big if), just cover the dish with foil or transfer the dip to an airtight container. Store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop it back into the oven at 350°F until warmed through, or microwave it in short bursts, stirring in between.
