Ingredients

  • 1 block 8 ounces Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 can Chili with or without beans – your choice!
  • 1 –2 cups Shredded Cheese Mexican blend, cheddar, or colby work great!

Method

  1. About 30 minutes before you’re ready to start, set the cream cheese out to soften at room temperature. It’ll be much easier to spread!
  2. Spread the softened cream cheese evenly across the bottom of your baking dish using a spatula. Make sure it covers the entire bottom.
  3. Open your can of chili and pour it right on top of the cream cheese layer. Spread it out evenly with a spoon or spatula.
  4. Sprinkle a generous layer of shredded cheese over the chili. Feel free to pile it on – the cheesier, the better!
  5. Pop the dish into your preheated oven (350°F) and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden around the edges.
  6. Pull it out of the oven and let it cool for just a minute. Then serve it hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or even some crusty bread!

Notes

If you have any leftovers (and that’s a big if), just cover the dish with foil or transfer the dip to an airtight container. Store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop it back into the oven at 350°F until warmed through, or microwave it in short bursts, stirring in between.
